How to celebrate Merry Christmas Day in Colombia?

●    There is nothing more magical than Christmas in the heart. It is a time to celebrate with friends and family, feast on delicious treats, and reflect on the year that has been while anticipating the one to come.

The Christmas season in Colombia begins on December 8th and lasts until January 6th of next year. The best part about this time of year is that it really feels like we are celebrating with a purpose- it's not just about having fun or being entertained; there are so many people who are praying for peace during this joyous time of year!

●     What makes the Colombian Christmas different?
Colombia celebrates Christ's birth on his birthday, which is December 24th. We celebrate all day long with our families and friends as they bring us goodies and goodies as they ask us to "paz para el mundo". As we open gifts, we think about how good God has been to us over this past year, continuing to bless us more.

●    Christmas day is the time of the year when people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a Christian holiday and it falls on December 25th every year.

The event is often celebrated by singing Christmas carols like “Sleigh Ride” or “Jingle Bells”, having turkey for dinner and watching comedy shows like “A Charlie Brown Christmas Special”
